Six Syrians killed in Friday's protests

Six Syrians were killed in Friday' s protests by the security forces, Syrian rights activists said Saturday.
The six citizens were killed in cities of Damascus, Homs and Daraa despite the orders reportedly issued by the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to the troops to refrain shooting protesters.
Thousands of anti-government protesters on Friday took to the streets of the cities of Damascus, Homs, Daraa, al-Boukamal and Qamishli.
The demonstrators chanted anti-regime slogans demanding President Assad to resign in what activists had dubbed "Friday of Syria's female liberals."
Meanwhile, the U.N. human rights office in Geneva said Friday that the death toll of the Syrians probably hit 850 since the anti- government protests broke out two months ago, urging the government "to exercise restraint, to cease use of force and mass arrests to silence opponents."
