South African president to attend Jonathan's inauguration in Nigeria

South African President Jacob Zuma is to attend the inauguration of Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan on May 29.

Zuma, according to a statement issued by his office on Wednesday,will use the opportunity, to strengthen the warm relations between Nigeria and South Africa.

The statement said Zuma would also visit Tripoli for a discussion with Libyan leader Col. Muammar Gaddafi on May 30, in his capacity as a member of the AU High Level Panel for the resolution of the conflict in Libya.
