U.S. senator John McCain ended his three-day check out to Myanmar Friday calling for efforts to boost the relationship between the United States along with the Myanmar new government.
"There could now be an chance to increase relations between our two countries and I stand ready to play a role in such a process where I may be beneficial," McCain told the press at the American Center in Yangon before his departure.
Throughout his check out in Nay Pyi Taw, McCain met with Myanmar Vice President U Tin Aung Myint Oo as well as the two sides discussed on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation.
