France says French missed in Yemen might be kidnapped

France envisaged feasible the kidnapping of 3 French people who missed in Yemen last week, Bernard Valero, spokesman of Foreign Affairs Ministry, stated Monday.

"The hypothesis of abduction is gaining credibility. But inside the absence of any claim, it really is premature to produce definitive conclusions," Valero stated following a daily press briefing.

"We for that reason continue to explore every one of the leads and operate closely with the Yemeni authorities, police and security in certain," he added.

Yemeni officials said three French nationals were abducted last week when they had been leaving a restaurant inside the province of Hadramout. They perform for the non-governmental organization (NGO) French Triangle, within the nation since 1998.
