China eyes closer party-to-party exchanges with Kazakstan

China's top political advisor Jia Qinglin vowed on Wednesday to boost strategic exchanges and dialogues between ruling parties of China and Kazakhstan.
Jia, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), made the pledge in his meeting with a delegation from Kazakhstan's ruling Nur Otan party, led by the party's Vice Chairman Nurlan Nigmatulin.
Jia remarked on the progress of China-Kazakhstan relations since the forging of the strategic partnership between the countries in 2005.
He said he appreciated the firm support from Kazakhstan on issues concerning China's core interests.
Speaking positively of bilateral party-to-party ties, Jia said the Communist Party of China (CPC) hopes to further deepen friendly cooperation and strategic exchanges with the Nur Otan party.
In response, Nigmatulin told Jia the profound friendship between the two countries' state leaders had facilitated the growth of bilateral good-neighborly relations.
He spoke positively of the CPC's achievements in developing China's economy and maintaining national unity. He vowed to further promote win-win cooperation between the countries and share experiences through party-to-party exchanges.
The delegation was invited to China by the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
