Brazilian veteran midfielder Gilberto Silva will end his career to join Gremio

Brazilian veteran midfielder Gilberto Silva will end his career in Europe and return to Brazil to play for Gremio.

The 34-year-old Gilberto Silva, who used to play for Arsenal and Panathinaikos, won the 2002 World Cup with Brazil in South Korea and Japan.

The seasoned midfielder will play for Gremio until the end of 2012.
