two killed, 11 wounded in twin bomb attacks west of Baghdad

 An Iraqi soldier and a firefighter had been killed and 11 other individuals had been wounded in two bomb explosions in west of Baghdad on Sunday, a nearby police source mentioned.

"The most current reports mentioned that an Iraqi army soldier as well as a firefighter had been killed by two bombings within the town of Abu Ghraib, " the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

A bomb planted in a liquor store at a market of Abu Ghraib town, some 20 km west of Baghdad, detonated at about six:30 a.m. (0330 GMT) , setting the store on fire, the source stated.
