AT & T access to telecommunications license in Indonesia

U.S. telecommunications giant AT & T Corporation on Wednesday announced that it has become the first foreign telecom operator in Indonesia to ensure that the multimedia service provider (MSO's) permission, the reporter said in a statement here.

AT & T, said the license will allow global companies to better Indonesia, with the expected national gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate of 6.4 per cent in 2011 to thirteen percent and investment growth opportunities.

Pacific, through its joint venture AT & T Global Network Services Indonesia (AT & T's Indonesia), the company said it will strengthen its commitment in Indonesia since 1967 and operates in a global multinational customers global needs.

The announcement was made by the Indonesian Government's policy may allow up to 95 percent of communications services in the country of foreign ownership.
