Chemical enterprises in China river pollution survey E

Zhejiang Province in east China chemical companies under investigation suspected contaminated discharges of waste to local streams and damaged the water supply since Sunday.

Jinzhili Chemical Co., Ltd. Zhejiang Lin'an City in Zhejiang Province is suspected of being contaminated with 12 volatile pollutants, including benzene, olefins, in the provincial capital of Hangzhou Environmental Protection Bureau Tiaoxi River, said in a statement Wednesday.

The statement said the FBI is working with the public security authorities to investigate the case.
