China, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to promote the development of security, economic co-operation in the next decade

In the next decade to promote security and economic cooperation by senior diplomats, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) development said on Wednesday.

Assistant Foreign Minister Cheng Guoping Orchid Pavilion in the third forum, the theme of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's speech.

Zheng said that China will provide in its other members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the ability of the firm support and economic security, and that the member countries of the security and economic areas of fruitful cooperation, as the organization was founded in Shanghai in 2001.

The regional organization groups China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

"This is the common task of all Member States, to meet new challenges and further promote economic development and improving people's living standards, "Cheng said.

Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States economies are highly complementary, and has made China's geographical advantages, make full use of cooperation, including transport, energy and other areas of the other Member States, he said.

"China has provided a value of more than 1.2 billion, other members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization economic development lending in the past 10 years,"Cheng said.

On security cooperation, Member States should cooperate, joint early warning and enforcement, as the international situation is undergoing complex changes, the threat of terrorism in Central Asia, he said.

In the Orchid Pavilion forum sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is an intergovernmental communication and exchange, business, academia, the media and the public platform.

It aims to create a new channel for foreign policy and in the common interest of all parties concerned discussed the issue.
