Volcanic ash causes Chile to cancel 50 flights in Brazil

Two Brazilian Airlines canceled more than 50 on Tuesday, Brazil and Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile's capital flight, because the volcanic ash ejected from Chile.

Tam Airlines said the flight conditions will continue to be evaluated to determine the density and movement of volcanic ash cloud before the flights will be restored.

Gore Airlines said modified "due to natural hazard events, the safety of its operation, and sometimes needs ", and the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) has issued a warning to passengers if their flight has been canceled.

Brazilian National Meteorological Institute (Inmet) said that volcanic ash from the puyehue Rio Grande has reached the western, central and southern regions of the state do Sul and Santa Catarina west.

Central Chile and Argentina near the border of the volcano erupted last Saturday from the first time since 1960. Volcanic eruptions led to at least 1,000 people evacuated from their homes.

Ashes, however, has caused between Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina and southern Chile, most of the domestic and regional flights have been affected by volcanic ash major flight cancellations.

Lufthansa flights to Buenos Aires was forced to stop in Sao Paulo's Guarulhos International Airport, and Taka from foreign airlines, LAN, Aerolineas Argentina and Pluna city to Brazil, flights have been canceled in the region, many of the Airport has been closed.
