Sharapova through to the last of the four French Open

 Russian seventh seed Maria Sharapova fought difficult to remove Polish 12th seed Agnieszka Radwanska 7-6 (7/4), 7-5, reaching the last eight at the French Open on Monday.

Sharapova, who fought back from 4-1 down within the first set and survived five set points in the second, will meet either 25th- seeded countrywoman Maria Kirilenko or German 15th seed Andrea Petkovic for a place in the semifinals.
