Syria has handed over three members of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) to Turkey, the semi- official Anatolia news agency reported Thursday.
The PKK members would be questioned by Turkish security forces, the report said.
Syria has transferred 125 PKK members to Turkey since the signing of the Adana Agreement in 1998, under which Syria banned the PKK on its territories.
Listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union, the PKK took up arms in 1984 in order to create an ethnic homeland in southeastern Turkey.
Some 40,000 people have been killed in conflicts involving the PKK for the past over two decades.
