Low-risk EHEC outbreak in China

Health experts said on Tuesday China faces "a relatively low risk," the outbreak of E. coli (EHEC), and detailed requirements of the control and prevention measures.

Because the country imports a limited number of fresh vegetables, with Escherichia coli, the risk of foodborne bacteria, into the country is low, experts attending the meeting said that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Chinese Center held Tuesday .

While in Germany and China can be a national of EHEC infection, it is almost impossible for them to spread further in China after returning to EHEC, according to experts.
