Mango Mobile HTC is developing

Taiwan smartphone maker HTC (HTC) (2498.TW) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said on Wednesday that Peter Chou, HTC plans to launch based on Microsoft (MSFT.O) Windows Mango new smart phone operating system. Microsoft on Tuesday released Mango systems. 


Microsoft hopes new features will be a series of Mango to help them narrow the leader in smart phone system, Google (GOOG.O) and Apple (AAPL.O:) gap. 


Chou an Internet conference in Paris, said on the sidelines: "We are developing Windows Mango phone. HTC is very committed to the production of mobile phones based on Windows systems." The Internet conference hosted by French President Nicolas Sarkozy held. 


However, Chou declined to give the first batch of Mango HTC phone may be the time to market. The CEO often unsatisfactory because of a new product in its final stages of R & D cut the entire project. 


HTC Google-based smart phone operating system, Andrew was a great success, but the company is also Microsoft's long-term partner. Said Peter Chou, HTC and Microsoft relationship will not change.
