Pakistani jets in their fresh strike on Friday killed at least 15 militants in Hangu district in northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, security sources said.
Pakistani air force destroyed five hideouts of militants in Mamuzai area of Hangu.
After the strike security forces cordoned off the area and started the search operation to arrest injured or fleeing militants.
On Thursday evening, at least 36 people including police were killed and over 50 others injured in a suicide car bomb attack in Hangu, some 70 kilometers southwest of Peshawar, the provincial capital.
The blast damaged a police office building and destroyed at least 15 shops.
Pakistani Taliban has launched a series of deadly attacks since the death of Al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden on May 2 in a U.S. raid on his hideout in the northwestern garrison city of Abbottabad.
