Dozens of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip marked on Monday one-year-anniversary

 Dozens of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip marked on Monday one-year-anniversary with the Israeli commandos raid on the Gaza-bound help flotilla, where nine Turkish activists were killed.

The participants rallied at Gaza fishermen marina on Gaza city' s seaside, waving Palestinian flags and chanted slogans condemning the Israeli attack on the help ships, that were heading to the besieged enclave a single year ago.

On May 31 final year, the Israeli naval commandos utilised force against six ships carrying aid and activists, most of them had been Turkish and Europeans, that had been heading to defy around four years of Israel blockade imposed on Gaza.

Nine Turkish activists were killed and dozens wounded. The rest of the activists had been detained and sent back to their countries. Israel seized the ships and later sent the aid by trucks to Gaza after the help was checked.

Following the Israeli attack on the fleet, the international community exerted pressure on the Jewish state, which made the decision to ease the blockade and allowed more goods and goods into the territory.

The following day right after the Israeli attack on the ships, Egypt had also made the decision to permanently reopen Rafah border crossing point together with the Gaza Strip. On Saturday, Egypt had offered much more easing of restrictions on the populations.

The participants at Gaza fishermen marina threw flowers and roses into the sea commemorating the nine Turkish activists killed final year. They named for allowing the new Gaza-bound help flotilla to reach Gaza that's scheduled to head to the shores of the enclave subsequent month.
