China, Japan launch of movies, comics exhibition in order to strengthen ties

China and Japan on Thursday unveiled the Chinese and Japanese movies, cartoons and soap operas joint exhibition to promote mutual understanding and bilateral relations.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso before the proposed National Museum of China is located in the center of the opening ceremony of the Beijing event.

Wen praised the devastating earthquake and tsunami consistently come to the exhibition, he said, demonstrated its sincerity, its attention to this incident the Japanese.

Taro Aso, as the Special Envoy of the Prime Minister Naoto Kan said that the Japanese government and society to support these types of cultural exchanges, can enhance mutual understanding and promote bilateral relations.

The exhibition, agreed during Wen's visit to Japan in 2010, will also be held in Shanghai later this month.
