China Southern Airlines will buy six Boeing B777F aircraft

China Southern, the country's largest airline, said Tuesday that it would purchase six Boeing B777F cargo planes.

In a statement filed to the Hong Kong stock exchange, China Southern stated the catalogue cost of each and every Boeing B777F is 264 million U.S. dollars, but the airline's actual buying cost is "significantly lower than the catalogue price" because of "certain price concessions granted by Boeing".

But the organization didn't disclose particular cost concessions offered by Boeing.

China Southern said the transaction will likely be paid by money and partly by financing arrangements with banking institutions.

The six planes is going to be delivered in stages to China Southern between 2013 and 2015, it stated.
