Kuwait's Amir leaves hospital in Britain soon after medical checkup

Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Sabah Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Monday left a hospital in Britain following undergoing routine well being checkups, the official KUNA news agency reported.

The outcomes for the tests "were good" along with the leader would spend many days in Britain on a private check out.

The agency didn't present details related to the treatment for the 82-year-old leader, who travelled for Britain last Tuesday.

Sheikh Sabah, who has the final say in politics, was sworn in 2006 as the 15th Amir of the oil-rich Gulf emirate. He served as the country's foreign minister from 1963 to 2003.

Kuwait sits atop around ten percent of the world's proven oil reserves.
