Iran's armed forces ready to deal with network attacks: Commander

Army ground forces, Brigadier General of Iran Ahmad, Li Pourdastan commander said Monday that Iran's armed forces prepared to increase its presence in "cyberspace, to stop any attacks, "the English language satellite television news network reported.

 

"Iran as the military forces of other countries ready to participate in the part of cyberspace and against any hacker attacks, "Pourdastan was quoted as saying.

 

"To exist in cyberspace equipment required by the Islamic Republic of Iran is preparing the defense industry, " he said.

 

Iranian officials have expressed support for the establishment of a Western response to the urgent need to prepare soft war in cyberspace.
