British insurance company refused to pay Michael Jackson to cancel concerts

British insurer Lloyd's asked a Los Angeles judge to nullify a 17.5-million-U.S. dollar policy signed with Michael Jackson so that they won't have to pay for the late pop icon's canceled concerts, celebrity website TMZ.com reported on Monday.

Filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court documents, Lloyd's said it should not be forced to compensate for the cancellation of the concert place, loss, distortion due to Jackson's medical history on them.

The company plans to cover the Jackson "is such a " loss journey. The proposed comeback concert after the abolition of Jackson's June 25, 2009 death.

Howard Weitzman, Jackson's real estate lawyers, known as Lloyd's complaint "is nothing but an attempt to avoid paying the premium by the insured person's legitimate demands of the company. "
