White House chief economic adviser to resign

 Austan Goolsbee, the White House Council of Economic Advisers chairman, he will leave the government, returned to the University of Chicago to teach this summer, the White House announced Monday.

Goolsby, a longtime adviser, President Obama, took over as Chairman of the Council last September, succeeding Christina Romer, who left to return to teach at the University of California, Berkeley.

Before that, he in the Obama administration time in fourteen years Goolsbee University of Chicago professor.

In a statement released Monday, Obama called him "America's greatest economic thinkers."

"In the past few years, he helped avoid the worst since the Great Depression of the economic crisis, our country, though there is much work to do, his insight and counsel to help leaders of our economic growth and create millions of jobs "Obama said.

In addition to being served as Chairman of the Committee of Economic Advisers, the president Goolsbee economic recovery for the Advisory Committee, where he helped guide the Government's response to the economic crisis, staff economists. He also served as senior advisor to the President's Committee on employment and competitiveness, the business community as an important bridge.

Goolsbee has been the face of economic news the White House, is a general explanation of each Friday, the Administration's latest unemployment figures a month.

According to the latest data released last Friday, U.S. unemployment rate edged up to 9.1 percent in May, and non-farm job creation was much less than the previous month.

Republicans criticized Obama's economic policies have failed the country.
