A bomb planted inside a liquor retailer at a marketplace within the town of Abu Ghraib, some 20 km west of Baghdad, detonated at about six:30 a.m. (0330 GMT) setting the shop on fire, the supply told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
Another roadside bomb struck Iraqi security forces and fire engines which rushed to the scene, killing a policeman and wounding four other folks and two soldiers, the supply said.
The attackers apparently applied old tactic which depends upon making a secondary blast to attract security forces, then they set off yet another blast to get heavier casualties, the source added.
Abu Ghraib is portion with the Sunni insurgent stronghold that stretches from the western edges of Baghdad as a result of Anbar province and its vast desert. The place has been somewhat calm for about four years considering that the Sunni tribes and anti-U.S. insurgent groups turned to cooperate with all the U.S. troops and Iraqi security forces against al-Qaida network in Iraq.
