Saudi embassy in Yemen shuts down temporarily.

The Saudi embassy closed its doors and accredited offices in Yemen's capital Sanaa on Sunday, every day after the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) took the Yemeni file towards the UN Security Council to take decisive decision on President Saleh's resignation.

Commenting on the move, head
from the consulate within the embassy Abdul Malik al Yousufi told Xinhua that the embassy is not going to close its doors permanently.

"The
current developments in Yemen forced some staff within the consulate to leave the nation, but we are able to resume the perform and obtain public soon ... possibly next Saturday," he stated.

A manager of a
regional travel agency stated that the Saudi embassy declined to obtain any documents from them, as the manager expected the current circumstance in Sanaa may well be the only reason for the closure with the accredited offices.

On Thursday, the Qatari embassy in Sanaa was shut down
immediately after the GCC-brokered power transition deal failed to tackle the month- extended crisis.
